So…
I’ve done most of my sports writing at The Daily Campus for a while now, but now I’m writing pop culture stuff there too for the Life section. Thus the lack of updates.
But here’s something that I originally came up with to post here: five of the year’s best rap songs. Notice I said OF THE BEST, not THE BEST. I would never go full BuzzFeed. That would make the headline THE BEST SONGS EVER. With a slideshow. And less than ten words for every slide. And pop-up ads.
Songs that were cut/just missed the cut:
“Beautiful Life” by Statik Selectah featuring Action Bronson and Joey Bada$$
“Legend” by Drake
“90210” by Travi$ Scott
“Paradise – Extended Version” by Big Sean
“Wesley’s Theory” by Kendrick Lamar
“Norf Norf” by Vince Staples
“Throw Sum Mo” by Rae Sremmurd featuring Nicki Minaj and Young Thug
Here’s the part where I put some extra stuff after a ‘Read More’ button. But I’m not doing that because that’s a page click$ move. I'm totally doing it again when there's more to read, though.
WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE.
