Like, a fairly high level of excited. Like, only a hair or two short of the ‘just read that Danny Brown’s primary inspiration for his next album is System of a Down’s Toxicity’ level of excited.
It was the culmination of the second wave of Marvel movies, immediately following 2014’s stellar one-two punch of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “Guardians of the Galaxy.” It was the opening salvo (sorry “Furious 7,” early April is not summer, especially where I live) of a high-powered blockbuster season with the return of Star Wars looming in December. It represented arguably the highest-profile superhero flick yet, as we continue to move closer to DC’s ambitious “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” in March 2016.
